These 2.5 lb. eaters were caught on the #3 SI Ugly Duckling you see below. It's a relativey tiny plug and the walleyes literally hammered it. One just about swallowed the entire plug. My dad said that they were hit this little plug so hard that they felt like 20 pounders! He caught them by casting in 6 feet of water along wild rice. Note: when using any Ugly Duckling lure, make sure that you use a crank-bait snap. They won't work if you tie them directly to your line. |
