Aqua Vu DT7

The new Aqua-Vu DT7 integrates two incredible features into underwater viewing.   A seven-inch widescreen liquid crystal display (LCD) yields vividly clear video images.   And the new exclusive Aqua-Vu Explorer lighting system provides unbelievable clarity and distance for night viewing.

Standard Features Include:

• 7-inch LCD display

• 100-feet of 200-lb test camera cable

• On screen displays include—

Temp Tech display of water temperature

Depth-Tech display of camera depth

Direc-Tech display of camera direction

• Built-in Explorer Lighting System

• 12-volt battery and charger included

• One year warranty

Here are three valuable reasons for owning this particular camera over other types, namely CRT-style (little television) monitors.
• You can see it in daylight
• It has the camera's depth on screen
• You can determine the camera's direction onscreen

Other Cool Stuff
The DT7 has LCD lights for video viewing in the dark. they are bright and work well plus with 100 feet of cable, you can get into a real Jacques Costeau moment.

Accessory Items that you need

I highly recommend getting these two items for this camera and pretty much any other. Aqua Vu's Ice Pod just makes life a lot simpler. Stick the camera cable inthe little rubber stopper and set it on top of the little tripod. Then just turn the camera wherever it needs to go. Team it up with the directional capabiliity of the Aqua Vu DT7 and you'll be looking where you want to look with far less wrestling with the cable when it just hangs on the edge of the ice.

If there's one extra thing you need to maximize your camera experience, it's the Reel Weeds Camera Cable Structure in the picture. This is one investment that will improve the way fish see you! It's a great idea and they are some well-made weeds. Unlike fishtank weeds, these are designed to be clipped on to your camera cable. Reel Weeds have a steel cable core and are flexible even in cold weather. They make a camera set up complete.

Another Accessory MUST HAVE item is the
Reel Weeds Camera Cable Structure
so the fish don't pay attention to the "Seaview"

Camera Placement
When I go out, I like to drill three holes. One for the camera that is placed so that it can see two holes without having to be moved. Here's a diagram:

Summary - As with everything, all cameras have trade-offs. If you want a reliable, effective camera with infrared capabilty, this one is a good one to consider. I don't know of anyone who has infrared cameras out there. You'd be the only kid on the block with such a cool toy!

This unit has 100 feet of 200 lb. test cable. Out of Stock for the season!
