Gapen's Mr. Waxy
Now here's a jig that I like to use for a variety of fish. Use the little ones for bluegils and perch, the middle ones for crappies and the bigger ones tipped with a minnow for walleyes. Like flat sunfish jigs, Gapen's Mr. Waxy disappears and re-appears as it rotates on your line drawing more attention. It's like a beacon in a lighthouse. Twitch it, jig it or just let it hang and spin. Unlike most sunfish fish jigs, Mr. Waxy as a really solid wide-gap hook Lots of different colors, made of tin so it ends up fluttering better.
