These are intriguing baits.
You may have heard about how predators will join in the chase and take advantage of an even bigger
opportunity. In fact, a classic proof of this true tale would be the many times over the years
that I've witnessed a northern as it jumped into my boat or canoe while in hot pursuit of a little
fish being reeled in quickly and lifted out of the water on someone's rod. When they pulled
the little fish out of the water and into the boat, occasionally a good-sized northern would come
flying out of the water in hot pursuit, right over the gunwale, and land on top of the tackle boxes.
Then he would begin flopping around violently upon realizing that he's not where he thought he was
going to be after catching that little runaway fish. Well, I've seen this happen several times
when guiding and we've had northerns as big as 8 pounds come crashing down into the tackle boxes.
Whooee! Whatta mess! These lures remind me of those times and I would expect them to
work well for walleyes, northerns and especially bass.

Minnow chases minnow in close proximity...how can they resist? Just think, one gulp and you get two minnows for the bite of one. Put one in your tackle box and give it a try when you're out on Insula or Iron up off the Echo Trail. 1-800-280-1078 |

These Storm Wildeyes suspend. You can crank them down under the surface and give them a twitch-hesitate-twitch, and then continue swimming. Like real minnows, they don't have to be moving constantly to remain down below the surface. They also have lots of tail action for regular casting. Rigged with Rapala VMC hooks, a rattle chamber, and salt impregnated, these neutral buoyancy lures may be just the ticket when haulling minnows around is less practical. I would use these in rocky reef areas and along the edges of weed beds or over the top of low lying weeds. Heck if I was a fish, I'd bite one. 1-800-280-1078to order
