Storm Chug Bugs are HOT Bass Tackle

Just clip on one of these little poppers on to your 4 to 6 lb. test line and cast it into shore so that it lands right NEXT to shore. I emphasize "next" because after years of guiding fishing trips in the BWCA, a lot of my clients thought that casting into shore meant "somewhere in the general direction of shore" which made for a truly worthless cast. Anyway, cast this plug into shore (within inches of shore), and give it a little jerk, a little twitch, a little retrieve, a little pause, and repeat until you are about 10 feet out from shore and then crank up quickly and cast it again. You are trying to work the bait where the fish are and when you cast it into shore, it looks like it fell from a tree and is either trying to escape or just a really dumb lifeform that a predator bass decides to eat. It's a violent place out in the natural world. Be glad you're not a Chug Bug.
